A roof is a long-term investment — and the company you choose should be built for the long term too.
Industry estimates suggest that a large percentage of roofing companies don’t make it past their first five years. In Southwest Florida, we’ve seen why that happens.
After major storms, new roofing companies flood the market. Work is everywhere for a season, but once demand slows down, many companies struggle to survive. Roofing is also a capital-heavy business, with materials, labor, insurance, permits, callbacks, and warranty obligations all needing to be managed properly.
And unfortunately, some companies try to win jobs by being the cheapest. That may look good on paper, but cheap pricing can lead to rushed work, weak margins, poor service, and companies that are no longer around when you need them.
When choosing a roofing contractor, don’t just ask, “What’s the price?”
Ask:
How long have they been serving this area?
Will they be here if there is a problem later?
Do they have the experience to stand behind the work?
At Amherst Roofing, we’ve been family owned and operated in Southwest Florida for 35 years. We believe in doing the job the right way, educating our customers, and being here long after the roof is finished.
Choose experience. Choose stability. Choose long-term accountability.
