After all the rain we've had across Middle Tennessee lately, take a walk around your home and check for areas where water is consistently pooling near the foundation.

Standing water doesn't automatically mean there's a structural problem, but over time it can contribute to foundation movement, moisture intrusion, and drainage-related issues.

A few things to watch for: • Water that remains for days after a storm • Soil washing away around the foundation • New cracks in brick, block, or concrete • Damp crawlspaces or basements

Addressing drainage concerns early can help prevent more significant issues down the road.
