🚀Over the past 4 months, our Qualifiers team gave it their all—time, ideas, late nights, laughter, challenges… but above all, they brought passion and enthusiasm to every step of the process.
The result speaks for itself: they designed VOCHITO II, a habitat built for one of the most extreme environments in the solar system—Venus. A project that reflects not only strong technical knowledge, but also vision, creativity, and an impressive ability to solve the challenges of the future.
This work was developed as part of the 2026 Write-in Space Settlement Design Competition, created and organized by AEC Aerospace Competitions.
What makes this achievement even more powerful is that it was built collectively by students from Guanajuato, Tamaulipas, Chiapas, Estado de México, Nuevo León, Mexico City, and Peru, representing both public and private schools. Different backgrounds, one shared mission: to take their talent beyond Earth.
As we await the final results, today we want to tell them something very clearly:
What you’ve achieved is remarkable. What you’re capable of achieving is even greater.
Thank you for your commitment, for believing in yourselves, for daring to think about Venus… and for reminding us that the future of space is also being designed in Mexico and Latin America.

Durante los últimos 4 meses, nuestro equipo de Qualifiers lo dio todo: tiempo, ideas, desvelos, risas, retos… pero sobre todo, pusieron pasión y entusiasmo en cada etapa del proceso.
El resultado habla por sí solo: diseñaron VOCHITO II, un hábitat pensado para uno de los entornos más extremos del sistema solar: Venus. Un proyecto que refleja no solo un sólido conocimiento técnico, sino también visión, creatividad y una impresionante capacidad para resolver los desafíos del futuro.
Este trabajo fue desarrollado como parte de la competencia 2026 Write-in Space Settlement Design Competition, creada y organizada por AEC Aerospace Competitions.
Lo que hace este logro aún más poderoso es que fue construido de manera colectiva por estudiantes de Guanajuato, Tamaulipas, Chiapas, Estado de México, Nuevo León, Ciudad de México y Perú, provenientes de escuelas públicas y privadas. Diferentes contextos, una misma misión: llevar su talento más allá de la Tierra.
Mientras esperamos los resultados finales, hoy queremos decirles algo muy claro:
Lo que han logrado es extraordinario. Lo que son capaces de lograr es aún más grande.
