So what did I do today? Well, I had to take one of my sons to the neurologist--everything's fine, btw. Anyway, the office is WAY uptown on the East Side of Manhattan. Rather than going directly underground to get home, we walked through Central Park to get back to the West Side. It may have taken a few extra minutes but the subways can be slow in the middle of the day anyway.

It was drizzling the whole way but we had an umbrella. :-)

I had to get online this evening to finish a few things up but it was totally worth it.

The photo is just a stock photo of the park, BTW. I decided I wasn't going to look at my phone while we were walking through the park.

Could you pass the FBI fitness test? For the first time in 16 years, the FBI is requiring agents to pass a fitness test as part of their annual review. While the standards aren't exactly athletic, I applaud the agency for realizing that health and fitness a crucial part of such a stressful line of work.

New fitness tests are in part a response to increasing concerns of senior F.B.I. officials about the toll on agents after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

I made the paper!

I've had the privilege of working with Google demoing Android Wear. Can I just say, I love my watch! Unlike the standard Fitbit sort of thing, which is static (you can't add an app to most of those types of devices) Android Wear can track your steps AND push your emails AND give you a workout AND count your reps.

And I even have a Magic 8 Ball app on mine. :-)
