When fill height is tight, elliptical pipe gives you a way to move the same design flow without the vertical profile of round pipe.

Foley manufactures elliptical pipe to ASTM C507, from 14 inch by 23 inch equivalents up to 76 inch by 48 inch equivalents. It is a straightforward fix for sites where headroom, not capacity, is the constraint.

When cover depth is limited or the crossing is wide and shallow, Foley's arch pipe is built for exactly that constraint.

What was the first precast concrete product you ever specified or installed?

We all have a "first one." Maybe it was a standard manhole. Maybe it was a massive box culvert that seemed impossible to place. Whatever it was, it probably taught you something about precast that stuck.
