Great review from jeffery... "Master Bathroom Remodel – 2026
We contracted with Gill Construction (CNS) to renovate our 35 year old master bathroom and vanity room and to replace the carpeting in our Master Bedroom (MBR) and an adjoining Prayer Room with Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). Most of the old bathroom and vanity room furnishings and fixtures were original construction and our intent was to modernize our bathroom by consolidating the bathroom and vanity room into a single bathroom making maximum use of the combined floor space to install a new handicapped accessible shower, to increase usable storage options in the new bathroom, and to properly construct a private toilet room.
Once under contract, Gill Construction’s Project Manager, German Gonzales, was quickly assigned and involved in the project ex*****on. German was an excellent communicator, was always available by phone or text and usually responsive the same day. He provided daily reports recapping what had been accomplished that day, what, if any, issues were encountered, and also what was scheduled to occur the next day. At the end of the week German also provided a progress report and a multi-week look-ahead schedule that also identified any potential issues and bottlenecks that could affect the schedule. In the background, Mr. Steve Gill remained actively engaged making sure all design completions, material selections and procurements, construction schedules, sub-contractor scheduling and progress payments, etc., were being made in a timely manner. His repeated goal throughout the project was to insure that we were always informed, involved with and happy with the project progress and the material and equipment installations.
We enjoyed our highly collaborative business relationship with Gill Construction from beginning to end. The design and construction personnel we met were all professional and pleasant to work with. People showed up at our house when they were scheduled to and they cleaned up the working spaces every day before they left our house.
Very few issues were encountered on this project, and those that were identified were minor. We had one call back repair about a month after project completion and that repair was quickly addressed by the project manager and their Remodeling Technician, Mr. Fabrice Griffiths. Overall, the quality of materials installed and the workmanship performed throughout the project construction were excellent. Great job to all of the Gill project team – we couldn’t be more pleased.
The highlights of the renovation was the installation of a new walk-in handicapped shower with handicapped hardware and seating, a rainfall shower head and an additional hand wand shower mounted next to the fold-down handicapped seat. New wet walls were constructed with a no-step access onto the shower’s tile floor. A 180 degree swinging glass door, and a sliding glass window were also part of the shower room install. Other major improvements made included a nine foot countertop with 12 storage doors, and storage units in the bathroom and toilet room.
At the time of this writing, we’ve been using our new bathroom for approximately four months and we absolutely love it. What a transformation. Every comment we’ve received from friends and neighbors, especially those who knew what our original bathroom and vanity room was, have been entirely positive and complimentary. The LVT flooring throughout the project areas also garners appreciative comments.
This was our second major renovation project with Gill Construction and both projects were highly successful. It is without any reservations that we highly recommend Gill Construction for anyone in need of remodeling services. Thank you."
