These heads were a little rough coming out. All the exhaust valve guides, to some extent or another, were all trash. While they were relatively straight according to my straight edge, it's never a bad idea to just get them decked(flattened to within.001 of an inch), chemical bath, recut the valve seats to true them up( exhaust seats were all in very poor shape), new valve guides, and having a machine shop extract broken exhaust manifold bolts is WAY easier 😄!! Decided to just have the shop run through them and get them all fixed up. Dan's Cylinder Head in Portland did a fantastic job and quick turnaround! Fresh valves they custom ground to ensure trueness, fresh valve seals and vacuum tested! These things are in mint condition. Now to get these reassembled and back in Smalls!! 🤠ðŸ¤
Ps...the machinist was a little nervous seeing the way they were being transported 😂😂 Can't use the van and y'all are 30mi away....I get the job done, by whatever means available😎😎 Sometimes those means are an awesome motorcycle on a beautiful day🤠ðŸ¤
