Supporting the next generation of papermakers and engineers!

This week, UW-Stevens Point needed a critical part to keep its pilot paper machine running for student training, and our Biron Mill team was ready to help. Within hours, we located the equipment, donated it, and arranged for a quick handoff.

We're fortunate to have the outstanding UW-Stevens Point Paper Science & Engineering program right in our backyard. The pilot machine provides students with invaluable hands-on experience, and we're proud to play a small role in helping develop the future talent that will lead our industry forward.

Thank you to everyone involved for making it happen so quickly!

"The mill has shaped this rural town's economy for 125 years. In that time, it has brought good-paying jobs and been a driving force in Maine's vital forest products industry." – Sun Journal

We're proud to see the Rumford Mill and its employees featured in this story about the resilience of Maine's paper industry.

At ND Paper, we're honored to be a part of communities like Rumford, where manufacturing jobs, sustainable forestry, and innovation continue to create economic opportunity for generations of families.

The ND Paper mill has long supported the town's economy and culture. Workers and officials at the plant are optimistic about it's future.

Last month, our Biron Mill was proud to donate five rolls of paper to Pacelli Schools for use in their summer programs. These rolls will be distributed across five locations, giving children as young as two years old the opportunity to explore their creativity through arts, crafts, and other hands-on activities. Our Biron General Manager, Steve Raczek, and our Biron Safety Manager, Kevin Nigh, were excited to hand these rolls off to Makayla Dahms, Assistant Controller of Pacelli. We know that this paper will soon become drawings, paintings, and countless student masterpieces!

Our Biron Mill recently hosted the Wisconsin County Forests Association during their annual summer tour. It was an awesome day getting to know forestry leaders from across the state and sharing what we do at ND Paper. Huge thanks to the Wood County Parks & Forestry department for including us in this great event!

Our five ND sites are each located in special communities we're proud to call home. Fairmont, WV, where ND Sheets first began, is also home to the Disability Action-Center, a comprehensive education, training, and enrichment center for individuals with disabilities and their families. We were honored to participate in their annual DAC-Mallamo Golf Tournament last week with friends and neighbors!
