Here’s a recent project. A live edge slab coffee table using among the last of my walnut .

It’s going to a good home with and will be near to where it grew.

The base is steel square tubing with powder coating by .works. helped me sand the top. Thanks guys!

Here’s a recent and project that was equal parts challenging, interesting, and exasperating.

It took all my tricks, and even required some custom made hardware. But it holds 31 bottles and I’m very happy with how it turned out.

Here’s the latest piece in my series of slow projects. I’m calling it the “hawk in flight” chest of drawers.

The drawer fronts are bookmatched crotch , end panels are crotch walnut, and the frame and top is the last of an oak tree I got in high school.

This project has been a long time coming. And I’m happy with how it turned out and glad it’s done!

Thanks to for letting me fish the walnut out of his firewood pile and to for helping me saw the walnut veneer and sanding the top!
