Violets (and her ) stopped by to visit her this week, and gave her blankets to keep her warm in her old age as the temperatures drop. Thank you Ali and Sharon! So great to see you both! She loves her blankets!

The best times and I have together are those when I’m home all day.
me: usually in and out of the shop.
Her: by the open back door (or maybe lifted to the couch)

In the shop I’ve been making cutting boards (and tables and knives and plant stands, stay tuned)
If you need something for the let me know soon.

The main thing is violet. She’s still with us, stinky, stumbly, and proud. If you have treats she’d love for you to come see her. 🦛🥩

While I’ve been mostly hanging out with lately, because she’s gotten very old over the last few months and worries me everyday 😢, I have done a few things in the shop.
Here’s a table I salvaged from my dad’s barn, deconstructed, and rebuilt into a new table.

And a chunk of that instead of becoming a knife will exist only as a $400 paperweight
⚒️🚫🔪🤦🏻‍♂️

If you want to visit Violet she’ll be happy to see you, even happier if you bring her treats. 💜🦛

I have the distinct honor to have my work available at the.artful.nest in Marietta PA. I dropped a new batch off there yesterday.

It’s an amazing and beautiful shop and she just completed a significant expansion.

Suzanne has done a wonderful job with her shop and is a fantastic artist as well!

You should make a point to stop in, you’ll love it

. old. And kinda falling apart (😭)

BUT she’s still spunky(ish), loooooves to eat, well medicated, and loves her shelf of treasures that her pals gave her. 💜🦛

I’m very thankful for her, and all of that, and you: her pals.

The curved inlays this didn’t line up right so I cut it down and had my guy at Mandy Ward laser the on it.

So now I have a not quite perfect cutting board that’s perfect for cutting things aren’t too big. 🍋‍🟩🥑🔪

Unrelated, this is the first piece made from the maple trees I had to cut down a couple years ago 🥺🌳😌

Happy to the happiest hippoest dog a guy could ask for!

7 years ago I brought her home, she was middle aged then, and old now.
But she still loves treats and a good nap.

I’m thankful for everyday I get with her.
You’re the best

I really like how the double twist came out, but the etch still leaves room for improvement.
I guess I’ll have to keep practicing! ⚒️🔥
thanks for looking!
