I had the honor of turning some ~150+ year old into a table for my good friend and her husband Bruce.

Bruce’s family the lumber when he was a kid in the 70’s and we re-salvaged it from his childhood home and I turned it into this tabletop.

It was a little thin for a table so I face-glued the boards before gluing the top and cutting it round. it’s 48” in diameter with a base.
It now lives in their gazebo overlooking the creek. I love materials with a story

Did a little forging yesterday. From this hot block of will emerge one of my next knives…
