to all my friends and customers, that own heat pump systems. With the temperature tomorrow, reaching a high of 10° on your heat pump thermostat switch the heat to emergency heat. That will run just the electric heaters inside the air handler. And it will bypass using the outdoor heap pump. Which actualy Bellow 35° will give you no heat. . against popular belief that this will actually cost you more money. That is incorrect if you run the heat pump in emergency heat. During these frigid temperatures, it will actually cost you less to operate. Then in regular heat mode.
