A salvage project that’s been back burnered for quite some time…

Unfortunately, this Atlas O TTX Berwick was poorly renumbered by the previous owner, so we wanted to do something creative and replicate a car that at least had some patch work over the car numbering. TTX berwicks are fantasy, not the correct car body even if it’s a realistic and modern paint job… so all said and done, it’s not really too much of an issue for some customization.

Completed a light sun fade as the base, graffiti as a middle step, then decaling for a newer and “cleaner” repair to save this car.

Still working out some kinks in the process but one step at a time 👍

A lot of work put into these Atlas O Premier 5344’s, not all graffiti needs to look pristine… very rarely does it actually look crisp and fresh. These cars are no exception, pretty weathered from service and tagged up.

All graffiti reflects prototype images (where feasible) and from pictures we’ve taken of other cars.

Yet another project completed, this time for !

Big shoutout for the patience while we navigate life, other projects, and a little bit of ADHD 😂

This unit got a needed sun fade, some signs of primer peeking through the green roof, a patch out for Wells Fargo Rail, and we couldn’t complete this without including one of our EMD-D plows… not entirely a 1:1 to the prototype but we kept it lite and threw hints of detail in the weathering.

Let it be known that 6/13 will forever be WFRX day… since this one consumed the entire Saturday 😂

No parts on these, but finished up for a good client of ours. Not our first go around with some “light service” FEC units… but these came out perfect.

This may open a can of worms for the personal collection… regardless, enjoy the final result. 👍
