This is the page of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) Lunabotics team. This team is going to participate “NASA’s Fourth Annual Lunabotics Mining Competition,2013 “ at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. NASA’s Lunabotics Mining Competition (http://www.nasa.gov/offices/education/centers/kennedy/technology/lunabotics.html) is designed to promote the development of interest in space ac

tivities and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. The competition uses excavation, a necessary first step towards extracting resources from the regolith and building bases on the moon. The competition will be conducted by NASA at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The team will use telerobotic or autonomous operation to excavate lunar regolith simulant.

This year Jnr. MIST Lunabotics members are participating in SAE Aero Design® East-2014 competition which will be held on april 11-13 at Lockheed Martin, Marietta, Georgia. They have already headed towards USA. Dear fans please keep them in your prayer.
