TensorSmith™ began in our small family workshop with simple tools, real copper, and a deep desire to both honor Slim Spurling’s legacy and bring tensor tools into everyday life. A couple years ago, we spoke directly with Katharina Spurling-Kaffl (Such a neat thing for us and she was so genuine), and we told her our dream:

“We want to make ONE of Slim’s simplest inventions go viral — to make it a common household item in America and across the world.”



That was our heart. That was our mission. Not for hype… but to keep alive a lineage of work that meant something. And we’re grateful beyond words to say:

Every home has one.

That one spot where approximately 37 cables, 12 chargers, and several questionable electrical decisions come together to keep modern civilization running.

Nobody knows what half of it does.

Nobody remembers plugging it all in.

And absolutely nobody is brave enough to unplug anything to find out.

Somewhere in that mess is a charger for a phone you haven't owned since 2017.

But somehow...

Everything works.

So naturally, we introduced a copper ring to the situation and called it a day. 😎

We're not electricians.

We're not cable management specialists.

And judging by the footage, we're definitely not interior designers.

We're just acknowledging the invisible infrastructure holding our lives together.
