TensorSmith™ began in our small family workshop with simple tools, real copper, and a deep desire to both honor Slim Spurling’s legacy and bring tensor tools into

everyday life. A couple years ago, we spoke directly with Katharina Spurling-Kaffl (Such a neat thing for us and she was so genuine), and we told her our dream:

“We want to make ONE of Slim’s simplest inventions go viral — to make it a common household item in America and across the world.”



That was our heart. That was our mission. Not for hype… but to keep alive a lineage of work that meant something. And we’re grateful beyond words to say:

Why would an engineer spend weeks—or even months—changing nothing but the shape of a design?

If non-ionizing radiation can't ionize atoms...

Then why do scientists continue studying it?

Because ionization is only one way electromagnetic energy can interact with matter.

Researchers don't just ask whether something can ionize atoms. They also study questions like:

• Does it produce heating?

• Can it induce electrical currents under certain conditions?

• What frequency is it?

• How intense is the field?

• How long is the exposure?

• How far is the source from the subject?

Those are the kinds of questions that drive scientific research.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is assuming that if a field can't ionize atoms, then there's nothing left to study.

Science doesn't work that way.
