We were proud to serve as a sponsor of the 2026 Race for the Bays hosted by the St. Andrew and St. Joseph Bays Estuary Program (SASJBEP).

This annual event brings our community together to celebrate and support the protection of one of Northwest Florida’s most valuable natural resources: the St. Andrew and St. Joseph Bays watershed. Did you know this watershed includes more than 200,000 acres of wetlands that help protect the health of our bays?

DHG is honored to support organizations like SASJBEP that are committed to conserving and restoring the ecosystems that make our region such a special place to live, work, and play. We were especially encouraged to see our team members participate alongside so many other community supporters who share a passion for environmental stewardship.

Born and raised in Gulf Breeze, Morgan graduated from the University of West Florida in May 2024 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Data Processing and Management. In her free time, she loves going to the beach or practicing yoga.

A Pensacola native, Alex earned her B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama in 2019 and her M.S. in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in water resources, from the University of Central Florida in 2022.

Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with local nonprofits, boating, and studying for Jeopardy!

A strong year of leadership and service is underway for the SAME Mobile Post! DHG is proud to have our own Travis Hyman inducted as President and Dallas Wyatt as Vice President for 2026-2027, as the Post continues supporting the next generation of our profession. During the meeting, Darryl James, Ph.D., P.E., the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of South Alabama discussed the college's engineering programs, and four outstanding students were awarded scholarships.
