"I finally got the "summer shield" cover installed and I'm soooooo happy!! I needed it very badly for a south-facing vent where the fireplace is in a tiny office room with multiple computers running all the time. With the sun beating down on the metal vent constantly, the room quickly becomes an oven!! I don't really need the fireplace, even in the winter, so I've just shut it off completely now. Since installing the shield, I've been able to actually keep the room at a reasonable temperature even on the hottest of days. I wish I'd done it years ago!! Could not be more pleased, and do hope that the vent cover will last for years and years." Brenda
