Wishing Holy Cross Church a successful 54th Greek Food Festival! The Conomos family continues to support and remember its roots from over 125 years ago. Our founder, John T. Conomos, came from a small island in Greece before coming to the US and starting his painting business in 1898. Four generations later, his family continues to be in involved in the painting industry, while focusing on their faith, family, and giving back to their community.

The festival runs June 15th - 19th. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Jason and Carl on the quality work they performed for our customer in Ranson, WV!

Carl and Jason broadcast color flakes into Sherwin Williams’ Resuflor®MPE epoxy coating and then applied a Sherwin Williams’ Accelera®5 high-performance topcoat. The floor looked great and our customer was extremely pleased with the result!

Thank you for your continued commitment to Conomos’ core value of quality.

Wrapping up Construction Safety Week 2026! Conomos is committed to encouraging a safety culture and working towards preventing workplace injuries and fatalities.

Take time to identify workplace hazards, respond by pre-planning, and respect the safety plan you develop. Use the energy wheel and the hierarchy of controls to help identify, develop, and create your safety plan.

Safety doesn’t happen just one week out of the year. It is a Conomos core value and we are ALL IN this TOGETHER: RECOGNIZE – RESPOND – RESPECT!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Stick to the safety plan and reassess when the conditions change. Conomos encourages everyone on the team to speak up if they see a safety hazard. If you see something, say something! Everyone has Stop Work Authority when it comes to safety and we know that risks can be minimized by respecting the plan.

Today’s safety focus is participating in OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls. Slips, trips, and falls on the worksite are one of the leading causes of worker fatalities and life-altering injuries. Properly used fall protection, daily equipment/worksite inspections, working at ground-level when possible, maintaining a neat workspace, and keeping the team informed and safety trained are all measures that can be taken to prevent falls. Conomos is proud to participate and help remind others to focus on this important safety topic. Falls are preventable. Let’s work together to minimize the risks.

Construction Safety Week’s Day 2 theme is RESPOND. Once you a safety hazard, how you will be the key to maintaining on the jobsite. Responding by pre-planning can eliminate a hazard altogether.

• What is your safety plan, and have you communicated it to your team?
• Do you have the proper PPE for the materials and environment you’re working in?
• Have you minimized the potential safety hazards you’ve identified through using the proper tools and engineering safeguards?

Respond to hazards by being proactive rather reactive. A planned response can make all the difference when it comes to safety.

Focus on safety is paramount at , however, annually we take the time to really put a fine point on it by participating in Construction Safety Week.

This week we will be sharing with our teams the overall 2026 Theme of All In Together: Recognize – Respond – Respect.

Today’s theme is RECOGNIZE. We continue to work together with the construction industry to look for ways to prepare for, recognize and minimize risks. Most injuries are avoidable with proper planning.

High energy hazards can quickly lead to serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs) so take the time to address and remove any potential hazards you can.

Use energy wheels to help you identify sources and remember to continually reassess your jobsite hazards during every phase of your project.
