Last week, EQT achieved a historic milestone with the release of the Longwell 9H.

The Longwell 9H set not one, but two new continental U.S. land records. With a measured depth of 37,610 feet, more than seven miles long, or nearly 26 Empire State Buildings stacked end-to-end, and a lateral length of 29,070 feet, it now stands as the longest lateral well ever drilled on land in the continental United States.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is how it was accomplished: with zero hazard points and 100% of the lateral drilled in target.

Breaking records is never the work of a single team. This milestone reflects the dedication, precision, innovation and collaboration of countless individuals across our Qrew, Patterson-UTI, Scientific Drilling, Paragon Integrated Services Group, Premium Oilfield Technologies and Halliburton. Their commitment to safety and operational excellence made this achievement possible.

As we reflect on this accomplishment, we're proud to celebrate a new benchmark for our industry and recognize the people who made it happen. Congratulations to the entire team on an extraordinary achievement.

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2026 EQT Foundation Scholarship Program!

Each year, the EQT Foundation awards scholarships to children of EQT employees who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and a commitment to their future goals.

This year’s recipients are: Jesse Kemper, who will attend West Virginia Wesleyan College in the Physics & Engineering Dual-Degree Program and Carly Lutz, a Finance and Marketing major who will continue her studies at Marietta College this fall.
