Update to all needing heat and reaching out to us. We are currently still snowed in and unable to get to our shop/ trucks/ supplies. Once the county gets the roads cleared and our snow plow free, we will start moving snow so we can get to all of the no heat calls. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Apprentice Plumber Wanted

We are not looking for someone that wants a job. We are looking for someone that wants a career. This person must be able to meet the following requirements:

-at work 8am-5pm M-F
-lift 75 lbs
-willing to work while on or in ladders, roofs, attics, crawl-spaces, and trenches
-no known body injuries example: bad back, leg, etc.
-willing to solder, hang pipe, clean and glue PVC pipe, carry supplies to and from job, and most importantly learn
-must know how to read a tape measure
-willing to operate power tools

*Starting pay $16+ per hr. depending on previous experience, if any
*Paid holidays after 6 months of employment
*1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment. 2 weeks of paid vacation after 2 years. Max. 2 weeks paid vacation

We are looking to expand to all forms of plumbing services. We are looking for 1 tech that meets the following criteria:
-excellent customer service
-works 40 hours min. per week (with the exception of paid time or excused time off)
-minimum of 4 years residential/new construction in-field experience. Commercial experience not required, but you will learn if you don’t know how already
-water/ sewer main installation knowledge
-septic tank installation knowledge (license not required for hiring, but you will be required to obtain your license upon hiring. We will help you achieve this.)
-service calls (example: leaks, clogs, etc.)
-experience with replacing or installing new water heaters, water softeners, and RO systems

*Starting pay is $30+ per hr. depending on knowledge and years of experience

Platinum Heating and Cooling LLC is here to stay, as is!
I (Leo) am sorry for the delay on this post. I should have addressed my customers months ago with an update. We are no longer partnering with another company to take on plumbing work. Since New Years, we have been in the process of expanding to take on plumbing work in-house. Long story short, for our heating and air company to keep up momentum with work, we need to also start taking on the plumbing work that comes our way. As our new 6,000 sq. ft. shop/ office space is completed within the next couple of months, we will be hiring for various positions. We currently have 1 open position for an experienced plumber (4 years or more) and 1 position available for an apprentice. Office positions will be available in the next coming months. I will post hiring ads separate from this post. We are currently only doing new construction plumbing. Service calls and replacements will be accepted as soon as we have the proper staffing.
We at Platinum can not thank the support of our customers enough! We sincerely appreciate each and every customer/ business that calls us with their heating and air issues and soon to be all plumbing needs!!

Hello Platinum family! Amanda here, Leo's wife. Since Leo is too kind of a person, extremely hard-working, and an even greater man (if that's humanly possible) he won't tell you this himself.
Last week, he started taking on more of a workload due to his secretary leaving the company. He now answers all of the calls, texts, messages, etc., in addition to his already very heavy workload. Leo deeply cares about each and every one of his customers. He works 70+ hours a week to keep everyone as cool as he can. He has been doing this for quite some time. So you can imagine how hectic it can get. His reputation, work ethic and accountability means everything to him when it comes to his customers. He appreciates each and every one of you.
Additionally, his grandfather passed away on Sunday. He worked half the day Wednesday, right up until the services that night because he doesn't want to let anyone down.
He took yesterday off for the funeral arrangements, etc.
Does he need a break? Absolutely! Will he take one? Probably not 😆
He is back working today and probably tomorrow due to his determination and drive to put his customers first. This, along with many other reasons, is why I love this man. I just want everyone to see how hard-working and driven he truly is, despite circumstances that he is being put through at the moment.
