4-H and Fair season is here! 🐄🐖 We’re proud to support our communities and cheer on our teammates’ kids as they show off the hard work and dedication they’ve put into caring for their animals.

Safety is our #1 priority and is the foundation of everything we do. The Nucor way is built on trust, open communication, teamwork, ownership, integrity, innovation, inclusion, courage, and a can-do attitude.

This year, one teammate from each crew and department was nominated by their team to receive a one-of-a-kind Safety Coin. These teammates embody the Nucor way and lead by example, helping to create a stronger safety culture not only here at our plant, but also in their homes and communities.

This coin not only represents working safely but is also a token of remembrance of our late teammate Don Tazoi, and a reminder of WHY we all work safely and look out for one another every day.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be recognizing these outstanding teammates and sharing the impact they've made on our safety culture.
