The building industry is now requiring a blower door test for air leakage for all new residential building permits applied for after July 1 2017. We have the Building Performance Institute (BPI) Infiltration & Duct leakage certificate to perform these tests in a cost effective and timely manner. Airlock Homes, LLC also can test existing homes using the blower door and pressure pan which will dicta

te air tightness of a home. The test can locate air leaks in the air conditioning ducts and in other areas of the home. A comprehensive test and schematic of the duct system enable the A/C contractor to easily find and repair duct leakage which could save money on your electric bill! Did You know that Larry (pictured far right) dreamed of owning his own company one day? Through hard work and dedication, Airlock Homes was born! Huge dreams take a lot of work and require a team! So, Larry asked his awesome friend of over 40 years, Buddy (pictured middle), to help make his dream come true! They were the Dream Team but still needed some help! Hey there! It's Watson the Elf on my Final Report. 🕵️

The saddest day has come! It's my last day helping Larry and Buddy over at Airlock Homes because Santa needs me back at the workshop. 🎅

If there is one thing I learned from my experience, it's that you can't beat working with a small, locally owned business. As a honorary Elf Detective at Sherlock Homes, I enjoyed cracking all of these air leak cases so that we can bring smiles to everyone's faces knowing their new homes and buildings are running efficiently. 🏠🏢

Can't wait to come back next year!

Today, I got to handle the equipment, and I learned so much! I asked Buddy a thousand questions, but he didn't seem to mind! He knew just what to do!

Watson the elf here, reporting some BREAKING NEWS!!

Larry has outdone himself yet again! He's a certified Building Analyst Professional and aced his evaluation test faster than Blitzen can fly! (and that is pretty darn fast)! 🦌

I can't wait to tell Santa! He'll be so proud! Be sure to tell your friends and elves too!
