A tie rod cylinder is a hydraulic or pneumatic actuator that uses high-strength, threaded steel rods to secure the end caps to the cylinder barrel. These four or more rods run the length of the cylinder, holding it together under pressure, making them easy to disassemble, repair, and maintain.
