Thank you to the Tualatin Valley Firefighters Union - IAFF Local 1660 for hosting another great golf tournament and for the work its members do every day to serve our communities. P+C was proud to support an event rooted in the same idea that guides our work: showing up for the people and places around us.

The new Cannon City Police Station opened its doors last week with an open house celebration. Built to last through department growth, the new 5270 sf facility features a multifunction room, a wellness space and an interview room with audio and video recording capabilities. Chief Schultz said it best, “It fits right into the style of Cannon Beach. It’s functional, yet beautiful.” We will be posting more about it in the coming weeks – stay tuned!

On a rainy morning last week the Banks School District broke ground on the new High School Modernization project! Students, parents, staff and City leaders were all present to officially kick the project off. Scope includes safety and security improvements, seismic upgrades, system updates and the construction of a new two-story high school building to replace most of the existing learning spaces. P&C completed a similar project for the Banks School District back in 2013-14 and we’re thrilled to be back!

Since our local founding in 1961, P&C Construction has focused on building strong relationships, delivering thoughtful work and showing up for the communities we serve. And while that hasn’t changed, our visual identity has.

With a new office in SE Portland, our logo has been updated to reflect who we are today. Our values—the people, the experience and the craftsmanship—are the same.

Still local.
Still collaborative.
Still committed to quality.

We’re excited to share more of this new look across our materials in the coming months (proposals, signage social media, site signage, PPE, etc.).

We’ve always been proud of where we’ve been. We’re just as confident in where we’re going.

P&C’s mission statement is one word: community. This simple but emphatic methodology is built into our entire process. It refers to our communities of clients and collaborators, the community-based projects we build and the communities that benefit from their successful completion. We don’t just invest in infrastructure; we invest in people.

Nearly a year ago, we kicked off a fundraising campaign with our friends at Banks Fire District 13 to help them purchase a battery powered extrication strut. This vital tool would allow Banks firefighters to respond faster, more safely and with fewer resources.

The initial goal was set at $16,000 (the cost of one strut), so we’re beyond thrilled to announce that the campaign is currently at $18,500 and climbing! This puts better equipment in the hands of our local first responders.

This was not just a “P&C effort,” it was neighbors, businesses, community partners and trade groups – all united under a common cause. So, a massive thank you to everyone who donated, shared and helped push this past the finish line.

Last week the City of Molalla celebrated the opening of its brand new 18,000 sf Police Facility! Built on the site of the former Molalla Bowl, the new CLT/steel structure includes two secure programs: one for the public and another for the City’s police department.

Though there were several impromptu speeches made from the station’s beautiful community room, City Manager Dan Huff said it best. “The completion of the Molalla Police Station is huge for this community because Molalla deserves quality facilities and services. We worked very hard for 10+ years to make this happen and it is a relief in some ways and just a very proud moment in others.”

We will share more photos and details about the project throughout the year – stay tuned!
