Machined cartridge for an EPMA to increase sample throughput and prevent dislodged pieces.

An EPMA is an Electron Probe Microanalyzer, it shoots tiny things at stuff and tells you what it's made of.

The machine apparently needs to be built around each sample at like a couple hours each time for some reason.

They were running 1 sample at a time before and if it moves then the whole operation is fu**ed.

Now they can run 4 at a time and they won't move.

Simple mill job, but strong results

Both 300blk and 5.56 use the same mags and will both chamber in each others barrels. Whichever way you mix it up it's not a mistake you want to make. Enjoy some peace of mind and rep your gucci tacticool nonsense with an engraved dust cover.

Working on SEMA 25 for Toyota Motorsports, can't wait to share on Nov. 4th.

Really proud to be offered this opportunity again, this time in my business capacity. The team over there is awesome to work with, I learn more every time I swing by the shop because of how knowledgeable they are.

No details until the media blackout lifts, but I think y'all will like it. I wasn't sure at first, but it's grown on me as the build has advanced.

Some aluminum fab work.

Building a shipping box for some sensitive equipment. It'll have removable tiers that sit on these stepped supports to keep everything separate and safe when some non forklift certified dock bro inevitably drops this thing.

Previously they were replacing the wooden crate about every trip. All said and done this thing will be about $3k in materials, but it's protecting over $100k in equipment and should be quicker to deploy for the operator due to efficient packing.

Hey Everyone, my wife said if I wanted to run a business I couldn't just lurk on social media and send people reels. So I guess now I'll be posting things.

I'm Cole, I'm an engineer at Toyota for the 9 to 5 and this is Dark Matter Laser Works where I make stuff with lasers. It's a veteran owned small business local to Princeton, TX. This is Kota, our shop potato.

We do metal cutting and fabrication, welding, rust and coating removal, engraving, and CAD Design. Dark Matter is primarily a custom shop, but we'll be branching out with some products here shortly as the website gets up and running.
