Major progress at the church parsonage!

All of the damaged floor framing has been removed and the new floor joists are now installed throughout the kitchen, dining room, and utility area. Next up is finishing the plumbing, installing the new subfloor, and getting everything ready to put this home back together.

Parsonage project update 🔨

Made a lot of progress on the demo today. Once we started getting the kitchen flooring opened up, we found quite a bit more water damage and rot underneath than what was visible from the top.

Got most of the damaged subfloor removed and everything opened up so we can see exactly what we’re dealing with. Next step is going through the floor framing, replacing everything that’s compromised, and getting it solid again before we start putting it all back together.

Definitely one of those jobs where you don’t know the full extent until you open it up.

Another project underway!

We started demolition on this church parsonage today after discovering extensive water damage throughout the kitchen and dining room.

✔️ Removed the lower cabinets
✔️ Began tearing out the damaged subfloor
✔️ Preparing for structural floor repairs before everything goes back together

Sometimes the biggest problems are the ones you can’t see until demolition begins. Taking the time to remove all damaged materials and rebuild it the right way is the only way to ensure a solid, long-lasting repair.

We’re looking forward to sharing the progress as this project comes together.

Another project from start to finish.

This one started as a covered back patio and was completely transformed into a large living space for the homeowners and their family to enjoy for years to come.

From the concrete slab and framing all the way to the finished log siding, vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling, flooring, trim, and final touches, this project was a complete transformation.
