Today, we’re proud to celebrate Angela and the countless women whose strength, resilience, and heart help power the live sound industry—both behind the scenes and on the front lines. ❤️🎶

Since day one, Angela has been an essential part of the company, playing a role in every aspect. From everything behind-the-scenes to setup, changeovers, and working as a member of the crew at every show, she’s always one of the first to jump in and get the job done.

Beyond the hard work, Angela is known for the way she invests in people. She’s patient, compassionate, and always willing to train, guide, and encourage others. Whether she’s helping a new crew member learn the ropes or lending a hand wherever it’s needed, she leads with patience, kindness and humility.

Her hard work, steady presence, attention to detail, and genuine care for those around her make her an invaluable teammate, mentor, and leader.

Some of the most important people in this industry are the ones working quietly behind the scenes—and Ford Audio Service wouldn’t be the same without Angela. ❤️🎶

But sound is what makes 25,000 people feel the same thing at the same time.

Watching RÜFÜS DU SOL at The Gorge is a reminder of why we love this industry. Every kick drum, vocal, synth swell, and crowd reaction depends on thousands of details working together behind the scenes.

Great audio is invisible when it’s done right.

Ford Audio has been proud to support the main stage sound for Sakura-Con every year since 2015, and it's always meaningful to be part of an event made possible by such a passionate group of people.

Many know Sakura-Con for the cosplay, crowds, and energy. What many don't realize is it began in 1998 as a small three-day gathering for anime fans. The event is volunteer-run and hosted by the Asia-Northwest Cultural Education Association (ANCEA).

In its early years, the event took place at the DoubleTree Inn in Tukwila. Now hosted at the Seattle Convention Center, it's grown into what organizers describe as the oldest and most well attended anime convention in the Pacific Northwest.
