Employee Spotlight - Deven Brooker

Deven Brooker joined Cox and Cox in the Spring of 2025 on the highway 32 project and is currently a tremendous asset on the Redding watermain project. Deven brings an undeniable work ethic and a positive attitude. He is always punctual and has a solid knowledge of the industry coming from the private sector before joining the Union. Employee Spotlight - Brian King

Brian originally started at Cox and Cox in 2017 running his own off haul truck as an owner operator. He was such an asset outside the truck while he was being loaded, there was an ongoing joke that he should just get on the payroll. As fate would have, he eventually became part of the crew and sold his truck. Since, Brian has become a very dedicated foreman and is currently running a crew on the tedious Dunsmuir sewer project. Thank you, Brian, for your hard work and dedication to the company! It is appreciated!

Have you ever seen a asphalt zipper before? This attachment is awesome and grinds through asphalt like butter! We utilize this attachment on the front end of a loader to grind a nice path into the asphalt where we intend to create a trench to lay pipe! It keeps the trench the perfect size side to side with straight and clean cut walls!
