I finally got to demo the Apple Vision Pro ✨ I'll have to say that I’m genuinely impressed!

Not only was the user experience intuitive, especially for existing Apple users, but the different scenes you could use across apps (AR/VR/MR) made the device feel more well-rounded and “worth it.” The eye and gesture tracking was also quick and responsive, alongside having excellent precision.

On a personal note, after having dealt with TBIs (traumatic brain injuries) in the past, I have a hard time with headsets, and I found myself just fine with the Vision Pro.

I hope Apple invests deeply in the developer ecosystem for this product so that all of the proof of concepts we see floating around can become a more plausible reality.

Although, truthfully, I just think it’d be more convenient than having multiple monitors for work 😁

There's nothing more rewarding than giving back to causes that align with your values ❤️

I’m so grateful to have returned to my beloved alma mater, , this weekend for the Women’s Impact Network annual leadership committee meeting.

WIN is a self-funded philanthropy group that advocates for women in STEM, specifically through grants to faculty, staff, and students at WPI. Over the past six years (since its inception), we've provided 90+ grants totaling $1.7 million.

I love being able to give back to a community that’s given me so much over the years and to help elevate the next generation of STEM leaders.

So here's my photographic evidence of having way too much fun with my coworkers at the bootcamp/ DevFest kickoff back in September at HQ

Wow! I can't believe I was just named “Next Generation Leader of the Year” by Women in IT. 😍 I'm thrilled, honored, and humbled.

Here’s what the organization said about the recognition via their LinkedIn:
“Our Next Generation Leader of the Year is a true inspiration, molding not just products but also possibilities, breaking barriers along the way.

Her journey echoes resilience and transformation. From battling imposter syndrome to trailblazing roles, she's ignited innovative change as a non-traditional tech trailblazer.

She embodies leadership—a voyage of growth, impact, and inclusiveness.

Our judges laud her change-driving prowess, evident in her short yet impactful journey inspiring others. Congratulations! 👏”

POV: it’s a Sunday and you just got home from a work trip to Canada. It was there that you realized the project you own probably won’t land on time unless you and your coworkers throw yourselves into it fully for a week. So, you and a peer hop on a 14+9 hour flight to Sydney on Thursday (four days later) to meet up with a few other Sydney based folks. You work hard during the day, getting all of your goals met plus some, AND you have an amazing adventure exploring the city along the way. 🇦🇺

I’m so grateful for my amazing coworkers and for for continuing to provide opportunities that I previously only could have dreamt of.

Loving my new shirt 🔥

I would say IYKYK, but honestly we should all know…

Ada Lovelace - the OG, or should I say original programmer. She created the first algorithm to be carried out by a machine.

Jean Bartik - an original programmer for ENIAC. Helped develop the fundamentals of programming.

Grace Hopper - Not just the conference. She was a pioneer of computer programming and helped popularize the idea of machine independent programming languages.

Margaret Hamilton - the computer scientist that led the team which developed the onboard software for the Apollo Space Program.

These women contributed massively - not only to technology - but to society as well.

📣 New talk alert! 📣

“We don’t all have to code: exploring various roles in tech”

I’ve shared my story of working in different areas of tech (like engineering, product, marketing, and DevRel) many times - both in formal and non-formal ways - and so this is a talk I’ve been wanting to develop for a long time now.

I’m excited to be sharing it at ’s virtual summit this July!

Sometimes taking the path less traveled, is actually the best way to get there. 🚲

The first few years of my career I was so caught up about the skills that I felt I lacked. I let my untraditional background make me feel like an imposter (no, I don’t have a computer science degree or coding education).

However, as time, professions, and companies have come and gone, I’ve realized that it’s my strengths that matter SO much more.

I know enough about technology and am passionate about it. I understand developers and empathize with their needs. I communicate effectively with peers and partner teams. I outline short and long term strategies with meaningful business impact. I influence across my team, org, company, and industry. The list goes on.

And that’s how I became a product manager. At Microsoft, then Twitter, and now at Google. My path wasn’t linear nor planned, but I ended up right where I dreamt I could be.

Follow your passions. Lean on your strengths. Create opportunities. Believe in yourself. And just be you. You’ve got this.
