Earlier this spring, we cleared the lower portion of this property from years of overgrown sage and brush, helping reduce fire risk, improve usability, and set the stage for a more sustainable, low-maintenance landscape.
Now we’re back for the next phase of the transformation. The first retaining wall of the season is officially underway, and we couldn’t ask for a better view. With the entire Cascade Range as our backdrop, we’re installing an Oregon Block Cascade Blend retaining wall finished with a charcole cap. Once complete, the wall will be paired with a 1/4-minus xeriscape landscape designed to provide years of beauty with minimal upkeep.
You’ll most likely see Bison Creek Company LLC come in after we’re finished to work their magic with hydroseeding, helping this property reach its full potential while saving the client thousands in future maintenance and water costs.
It’s always rewarding to return to a project and watch the vision come together one phase at a time.
