You can’t walk very far carrying every insult, every regret, every betrayal, and every disappointment life has handed you.
After a while, that weight starts changing the way you move… the way you trust… even the way you see yourself.
And here’s something age taught me:
Not everything that hurt you deserves to travel with you.
Some people will never apologize.
Some questions will never get answered.
And some chapters will never end the way you hoped they would.
But you still have a choice.
You can keep carrying yesterday until it breaks your back… or you can fina decide that your peace is worth more than your pain.
Forgiving doesn’t mean what happened was right.
Letting go doesn’t mean you forgot.
It simply means you’ve decided that what hurt you no longer gets to control where you’re going.
Remember this, young blood…
Sometimes getting stronger isn’t about learning how to carry more.
Sometimes strength is finally realizing what you’re willing to put down.
