Our co-founders, Eric Edwards, MD, PhD and Dr. Frank Gupton, had the honor of touring Senator Mark Warner; Linda Cruz-Carnall Regional Director, US Economic Development Administration; Caren Merrick, Secretary of Commerce and Trade; and other esteemed leaders involved with the Build Back Better Regional Challenge through Virginia Commonwealth University's Medicines for All Institute at the Advanced Pharmaceutical Development Center. Following the tour, our CEO Eric Edwards, MD, PhD had the opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion about the importance of the Build Back Better Regional Challenge and how the award is making generational investments into regional economies, driving economic recovery, and putting communities across the country on the path toward economic competitiveness.
Today’s events are in celebration of the transformative Build Back Better Regional Challenge grant awarded to the Alliance for Building Better Medicine, a coalition of public and private sector stakeholders in the Richmond-Petersburg region. Phlow serves as part of the founding board of the Alliance for Building Better Medicine and is proud to work with the growing coalition as it leverages the Build Back Better Regional Challenge grant to create a reliable supply of safe, high-quality, and affordable medicines.
