Well hello there! We know it's been awhile since you all have heard from us but that's because we have been working on some things. For starters, Reeves HVAC is now on Angie's List; Not only are we on Angie's List but we're Angi Certified! That means we've passed background checks, our licenses have been verified AND we have a good customer rating (it's 5⭐but who's counting?)! Happy 1st day of Autumn! Hard to believe with it being so hot today! With cooler weather just around the corner don't forget to get your home and hvac system winter ready. Here are a few things you can do to prepare for the colder months ahead:

*Check for air leaks around your home and your system. Any drafts around doors or windows should be sealed properly. Leaving them can cause an increase in your electric bill because the air/heat is seeping outside. As mom used to say, "we're not tying to heat the neighborhood!".

*Change your filters. Change your filters. Change your filters. Seriously, a filthy filter can cause the system to have problems functioning correctly due to poor air flow. It can also cause that famous burning smell when you first turn the heat on.

*Schedule your maintenance check up! This helps you to prevent costly repairs if something does happen to your system. Just like you get regular maintenance for your car, you need it for your hvac system too. These checks help to insure you're running too notch before its too late.
