Octoberfest in April? Hell yes! New hobby? I don't think this really takes ebough time or effort to call a hobby. Fresh brewed beer at home is still a win, even if it's cheating. Pinter is a big yes for me. Prost!

After a very rough couple of years filled with personal loss and health issues, I am finally getting to a place where I was prepared to fully resume 3DPrintMercMart, when out of the blue it seems, I get a notice from Etsy that by the end of March due to their new "Weapons Policy" my items will no longer be allowed on their platform regardless of how they're presented. Combine this with tax season and the financial review of the last 5 years that comes with it, it became clear to me that some hard decisions need to be made. After a few days of deep contemplation, I've come to the inevitable decision that I don't have the time or energy it would take to run this as a business without the automation and business stream that was provided by Etsy. I have a full time career, family, and multiple personal projects that provide me actual income that 3d printing just cannot compete with for my time. 3DPrintMercMart has been a tremendous success for me on many personal levels and has provided me years of working with great people and doing great work in the costuming community. I still have some decisions to make about how to handle all the equipment and supplies I have amassed over the years as I have a dozen or so Creality CR-10 variants to consider what to do with.
I still have a passion for 3D Printing and will continue to enjoy that as a hobby, specifically working in the larger scale resin production printing that I've shifted to over the last couple of years. I'll be keeping this page and my insta up and active (as active as it's ever been anyway) and use it as a conduit to continue to work on all the exciting custom projects that we've worked on together over the years. I'll be maintaining my 3d print library and will be happy to print the occasional item from that catalog for anyone that reaches out to me for one. Just know that this will be just a hobby for me and shipping timeframes will depend on my available time/energy to do the work. Etsy has been a wild ride and I'm tremendously proud of all the 5 star reviews and kind words from all my customers. I think that's it for now. Thanks for all the support!
