Just wanted to send out a big Thank You to all the customers that reached out over the last few weeks. I appreciate all of you for providing the opportunity to complete some “handyman projects” while I looked for my next career move. I am excited to say that I have found a new career that I believe will fit me very well.

Starting February 23rd I will be working for New Belgium Brewing (NBB). I’m even excited in the sense that I have a new skill to learn. I will be Sanitary Welding for NBB. I have welded a lot of stainless pipe in my life, but never to this level of precision. I’m eager to prove that I am the right candidate for the position.

Unfortunately, over these last few weeks that we have been snowed/iced in, it has really stifled being able to work on these handyman projects. If I have not already contacted you about your project I will be reaching out in the near future about possible completion dates and times.

Again, I am sincerely thankful for everyone that reached out when I posted about wanting work. You all are fantastic humans.

Dad and I got to work on a few projects together this week. Take advantage of those moments every chance you get.
I picked up this little Miller Welders flux welder a few years ago on Marketplace, along with a torch set for only $300, and just dropped it at his garage one day. He has been repairing mowers and such since he retired. Figured he could use it in that aspect if nothing else. Now he makes excuses just to get to make something and play with it. He makes all sorts of little stuff with it. He said "man I love that little welder. There is so much I can make and fix with it!"
Its probably the best $300 bucks I've ever spent.
I'm going to introduce him to 3D printing next. The piece he is welding he could have been printed and he would have had just as much fun and learned something new. He's good with computers so I know he will enjoy it.

Just a quick reminder!

If you have a Lowes Home Improvement credit card (and use it) be sure to cash in your rewards points. They reset back to zero at midnight on 12/31.

I cashed mine in and used the money to get 2 ceiling fans for our guest bedrooms!

Also, if you need help installing your rewards money purchase let me know. I have experience and referencees on all types of upgrades and repairs; ceiling fans, exterior doors, storm doors, faucets, and much more.

The return vent on this kitchen wall wouldn't allow a base cabinet to be installed in this space. So, nobody ever used this area. Until now. "In walks Duvall. He'll come up with something" 😆

I ordered a matching wall cabinet, a matching piece of quarts countertop and a custom set of wall braces. Not to brag, but, this project was so well planned the installation time was less than 2 hours and it totally transformed this tiny kitchen. With zero kitchen downtime for the owner.

Adding this coffee station not only opened up more cabinet space but it made this tiny kitchen so much more efficient. The real value add was relocating the countertop items. Opening up the main countertop work areas! Those of us that have a small kitchen and love to cook can totally appreciate every square inch of countertop workspace we can get.

This is the 2nd coffee station I have completed in this fashion and now every time I walk into a kitchen I instantly look at the efficiency and how it can be smoother, better, and more encouraging to work in.

Do you have an unutilized wall area that could be converted? Lets see what we can do to make working in your kitchen more enjoyable.
