We focus on additions, full deck rebuilds, structural work, remodels, and new home construction — projects that require proper planning and a solid approach from the beginning.

Availability is becoming more limited heading into summer.

Arlie and Sons Construction is looking for a dependable laborer to help with residential construction projects.

This position will start as a temporary / as-needed position, with the potential to turn into a full-time permanent role as workload continues to grow.

Work will include decks, additions, structural repairs, and remodel work.

Requirements:

Must be drug free
Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation
Dependable and able to show up on time
Able to work at heights including ladders and walk boards
Able to lift and carry construction materials

Experience in construction is preferred, but I am willing to train the right person. Basic carpentry knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are a plus.

This is hands-on residential construction work, and I’m looking for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way.

Most work will be in Wilkes, Surry, and Yadkin counties.

Potential start date: mid-April.

Pay will depend on experience.

House wrap and siding are going on, and we’re getting the exterior buttoned up. This is the part that makes or breaks the long-term result—proper water management, clean flashing details, straight lines, and tight cuts.
