Capital General Contracting LLC was created in February 2023 by founding partners Shaun Knode, Brent Kaslow, and Steve Knode. Between these three, they have over 75 years of related construction experience and have built hundreds of projects that total over a million square feet of building area, with wide ranging material types, complexities, and end uses. Capital was created to meet the ever-gro

wing commercial building needs in the Rochester, MN area, with an emphasis on meeting customer expectations by building lasting relationships and delivering high-quality results. This week Capital broke ground on a design/build addition for Grace Church in Stewartville, MN. This 6,300 square foot addition will provide the church with additional educational, office, and meeting spaces for their growing congregation.

We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Jeff Strand as Project Superintendent at Capital General Contracting! Jeff brings with him over 15 years of related construction experience. His duties will entail overseeing all daily field operations, including scheduling, supervision, quality control, and enforcing safety compliance.

Jeff resides in St. Charles, MN with his wife, Kasey, and children, Isabella and Cooper.
