Happy National Intern Day! 🎉

This week our 2026 summer interns gathered in Rock Hill for a visit with the NTS team, and we couldn't be prouder of the energy and fresh ideas they've brought to our business unit this summer.

Thank you, Jeff, for 25 years of dedication, leadership, and teammate spirit. Here’s to many more! 💚 🎉

Jeff’s journey started back in 2001 with the Vulcraft New York team that built the Chemung, NY plant, where he was hired as a Long Span Rigger. He worked his way up to Lead Rigger in 2004, then Long Span Supervisor in 2007.

In 2019, he moved into the Engineering Department, supervising the Detailing and Quality teams. When Nucor acquired Summit Utility Structures LLC in June 2022, forming Nucor Towers & Structures, Jeff relocated from New York to Pennsylvania to lead the Maintenance team in West Hazleton.

Along the way, Jeff has played a key role in plant redesigns, rebuilds, and equipment upgrades, driving continuous improvement from Vulcraft’s legacy roots to NTS’s next chapter.

🎉 Celebrating 25 Years: Jeff Wilbur 🎉

Please join us in celebrating Jeff Wilbur, Maintenance Supervisor at Nucor Towers & Structures, on his 25-year anniversary with Nucor!

Jeff's Nucor journey began in 2001 as part of the Vulcraft New York team that built the Chemung, NY plant, where he was hired as a Long Span Rigger. His hard work and dedication led to a promotion to Lead Rigger in 2004, and he went on to become Long Span Supervisor in 2007.

In 2019, Jeff transitioned into the Engineering Department, supervising the Detailing and Quality teams. In June 2022, Nucor acquired Summit Utility Structures LLC and Sovereign Steel Manufacturing LLC, forming a brand new business unit: Nucor Towers & Structures. Following the acquisition, Jeff relocated from New York to Pennsylvania to join the NTS team and lead the Maintenance team in West Hazleton.

Over the past 25 years, Jeff has played a key role in numerous plant redesign, rebuild, and equipment upgrade projects, helping drive continuous improvement across the operation every step of the way, from Vulcraft's legacy roots to NTS's next chapter of growth.

🎉 Milestone moment for our NTSUT team!

We're proud to share that this week our Brigham City crew surpassed ONE MILLION POUNDS year to date. This achievement reflects the fundamentals that drive everything we do at Nucor Towers & Structures: safety, team work, and training.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our teammates across NTS who welcomed NTSUT team members to their facilities to learn, grow, and build the skills that made this milestone happen.

Here's to continuing to grow our core, expand beyond, and live our culture every day.

A major milestone in Crawfordsville, IN ✅

We’re proud to celebrate the first galvanizing dip at our Indiana facility this week. This achievement marks a significant step forward in expanding our capabilities and strengthening our fully integrated approach from raw material to finished structure.

None of this happens without the dedication of our teammates on the ground. Thank you to everyone who made this moment possible. The future is looking strong.💪
