Assistant Superintendent / Field Operations – Growth Opportunity

Wayne Cole Custom Homes is growing, and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us.
This is not a desk-only superintendent position. We’re looking for someone who is willing to start hands-on—helping punch out homes, handling smaller projects, solving problems in the field, coordinating trades, keeping jobs moving, and doing whatever is necessary to deliver a finished product we’re proud to put our name on.
The right person could be an experienced assistant superintendent, a skilled punch/finish person ready for more responsibility, or someone with construction experience who has the drive and intelligence to work their way into management.
Our work is expanding throughout Rockwall, Heath, Terrell, Cedar Creek Lake and surrounding areas, with a focus on custom homes, luxury residential construction and high-quality remodels.

* Isn’t afraid to pick up tools and solve a problem themselves
* Can coordinate and communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors and vendors
* Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
* Can walk a project, identify what needs attention and get it handled
* Wants responsibility and has the ambition to eventually help manage multiple projects
* Is dependable, organized and willing to put in the hours when the job requires it
* Wants a career and an opportunity to grow, not simply another construction job
Where this can go
We’re building for the long term.
Someone who proves themselves could develop from a hands-on field position into an Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Project Manager, Field Operations Manager, or potentially a key right-hand leadership position within the company.
As we grow, I want to spend more of my time developing relationships, selling projects and growing the company. That creates a real opportunity for the right person to eventually take significant responsibility for field operations and help us manage multiple homes and properties.
Compensation will depend on experience, ability and the value you bring to the company. I’m willing to reward someone who produces results, takes ownership and helps us grow.
We bring extensive experience in multifamily, commercial and luxury residential construction, including custom homes in the multi-million-dollar range. After relocating our operations from Arizona to Texas, we’re building our presence in the Rockwall and Cedar Creek Lake markets—and we’re looking for people who want to get in early and build something with us.
