Congratulations to Logan Hockensmith on his promotion to Recut Supervisor at Yazoo Mills! 👏

Logan started his career at Yazoo Mills as a 1st Shift Recut Set-Up Operator and gained experience at the New Oxford Facility. Later, after moving to second shift, he became a Lead in March 2023. In early May 2026, he was promoted as the Hanover Plant 3 facility was developed. He has helped start, maintain, and improve the second-shift recut department in Plant 3. In addition to helping build the Plant 3 recut department, he worked with Jack Viale to establish the second-shift recut department in Plant 1, improve knife quality on the knife bars, and create standard operating procedures for their use.

A great day for an even greater cause. 💙

This past Saturday, hundreds of runners came together for the 2026 Snack Town Race Series in support of programs making a meaningful difference right here at home.

Yazoo Mills was proud to once again serve as a Gold Sponsor and support an event that has lasting impact right here in our community.

From a new location and partnership with the Snack Town Fall Fest to four Team Yazoo runners taking on the course, there was plenty to celebrate this year.
