Four years in the field. Still delivering strength.

After four years of service, a used 1-1/2" River Max sample was cycled under load and then pulled to failure at 156,494 lbs—exceeding its 150,000-lb Catalog Spliced Minimum Breaking Strength.

Yale Cordage recently donated a reel of rope to Boy Scout Troop 177 in Washburn, Maine.

The troop uses rope for everything from practicing knots and whipping rope ends to building rope bridges across the stream at their camp. It also comes in handy for hand guides along rough sections of trail, rigging systems to move objects, and even the occasional tree swing.

We’re glad to help keep Troop 177 supplied with rope they can put to work while learning practical skills outdoors.

Blue 32 spotted in the wild!

Yale Enthusiast and arborist Casey Jones recently put 200 feet of 11.7mm Blue 32 to work on a Douglas fir. Casey climbed on a fixed line and set a 3/4-inch Polydyne pull rope for the job.

Thanks for sharing your setup, Casey. It’s always great to see Blue 32 performing in real-world arborist applications.

Great day spent with Ronald Stanley & Billy Farrelly this stone dead Oak tree needed dismantling had great fun filming with these two again! Banter is on point. I even got stuck in & started chipping while these two had fun with the crane 🏗️🤪

Some very shiney kit to play with! Ron’s rope was so full of sappni lent him my Yale Cordage blue 32 I pretty sure he’s owns it now 👌
