Meet Josh — Owner of D & G Cabinet Company
Josh is the craftsman and owner of D & G Cabinet Company. A full time cabinet maker, devoted husband, and proud girl dad.
His passion for woodworking started at a young age while working in his dad’s cabinet shop. That quickly turned into excellence as he competed in SkillsUSA cabinetmaking competitions. He earned gold at State Regionals every year he competed and took home the National Gold Medal in 2004.
After high school, Josh expanded his skill set in the remodeling world, gaining hands on experience across the trades: framing, plumbing, electrical, and everything in between. However, cabinetry was always home. He eventually returned to the family business, D & G Cabinets, where he now leads every aspect of the company with pride, craftsmanship, and a deep commitment to quality.
Outside the shop, Josh is all about his family and adventure. He and his wife Malea have spent the last 15 years building a life together filled with travel, memories, and the outdoors. They have visited 23 of the 63 National Parks and even hiked Half Dome in Yosemite in 2024. When there’s a chance to get away, you’ll likely find them exploring in their camper van and chasing the next adventure with their girls.
A loyal sports fan at heart, Josh has never wavered in his support for the Sacramento Kings and looks forward to attending San Francisco Giants games each season. He also enjoys spending time on the golf course when he finds the time.
His favorite role will always be husband and father. From attending ballet recitals to refereeing soccer games, he never fails to show up wholeheartedly for the people he loves.
