Before the workday began, our Owners Group was already hard at work behind the grill!

As part of a longstanding tradition, they arrived early to prepare and serve breakfast for our team, making sure to catch our field crews before they headed out to job sites for the day.

This annual event is one of the many ways we show appreciation for the dedication, professionalism, and hard work our employees bring to every project. Thank you to all of our team members for everything you do. We are proud to serve you, even if it is only breakfast for a morning!

Earlier this month, our Roseville and Sacramento offices teamed up to put their Partners to the test with a Hot Ones-style challenge featuring progressively spicier wings and plenty of tough questions.

The competition brought plenty of laughs and memorable moments, and impressively, all but one Partner completed the challenge!

What made it even better was the opportunity to give back. Through the event, donations were made to Sierra College Basic Needs Center Food Pantry and Sacramento State ASI Food Pantry, turning a fun office challenge into a meaningful way to support our community.

This Parks and Recreation Month, we are proud to celebrate the completion of the Castle Park renovation in Folsom.

For nearly three decades, Folsom Kids Play Park—better known as Castle Park—has been a destination for play, imagination, and community connection. Originally built by volunteers in 1996, the beloved wooden play structures had reached the end of their useful life, creating an opportunity to thoughtfully reimagine the space for future generations.

Wood Rodgers partnered with the City of Folsom to develop plans for the park's transformation, including accessible pathways, upgraded site furnishings, a commemorative donor wall, and a refreshed site layout designed to enhance the visitor experience for all ages and abilities.

This project held special significance for members of our landscape architecture team whose families have enjoyed Castle Park over the years. Their participation in the community construction effort reflects the same community spirit that made the original park possible.

Congratulations to the City of Folsom and everyone who helped bring this exciting new chapter of Castle Park to life.

Last month, members of our Board of Directors visited our San Diego office for their monthly meeting. After wrapping up the day's discussions, they joined office staff for a few games of pool and some well-deserved fun at the pool table.

Meet Percy, our Office Dog of the Month!

Percy is a 2.5-year-old miniature blonde long-haired Dachshund who brightens up our San Diego office every day. He loves following his mom around the office and never misses an opportunity to stop by for extra pets and attention from his coworkers. We are lucky to have Percy as part of the team!
