Green Donkey Works We are a green urban farm located in Sacramento, CA growing organic microgreens, herbs, and some fruit and veggies.

We believe in protecting and preserving the planet and we try to bring that to the farming. We compost the used soil in our traditional 3-bin compost system, and we have a vermicompost system to create nutrient rich soil for the microgreens. We use biodegradable plastic bags, don't waste any water when watering the greens, and will hopefully be fully solar in the spring/summer of 2018.
