Here we visted the Sacramento Zoo while seeing the big cat lions Slamson II and Binti! They both came in around 2023-2024 to be apart of a Species Survival Plan due to the African Lion to help with sustainable animal populations. They rest nearly 20 hours a day, beat out our own house lion Saki the Hvac Kitty.🐾 😸

We had the lovely opportunity to have a tour through the local Sacramento SPCA animal shelter! We got to experience firsthand what's involved in the hard work these folks do. From the volunteer work that helps make sure animals get the care and attention to feel at home, or the work that happens in the local clinic to help our lost fluffy friends get the medical care they need. I finish my ribs on high heat to get the kind of bark I like on a rib. 2.5-3 hours low and slow and then just a few minutes each side on some serious heat.

I've used the same dry rub for over 15 years and about 10 years ago started making my own bbq sauce. Tequila base. do I need to say more?

my personal belief is that ribs should stand on there own. you shouldnt need sauce. and if you do add sauce it should elevate the flavors.
