Mendenhall Contracting LLC. We are a general construction firm located in central Missouri. We do all aspects of construction from dirt work to the paint.

Our company has expanded our project areas. Between the two owners we have 45 plus years of knowledge of the trades. Speacializing in the clients dream is the best way to describe what we are capable of doing. contractor to design and build exactly what you are looking for in a agriculture building, such as a machine shop, garage, hay barn, horse facility, or cattle barn. we aren't locked to just that type of construction though. We are professionals in new home design and build, commercial construction both light and industrial, we also do decks remodels, and additions. We are in the process of offering home inspections as well. We are an authorized dealer of World Wide Steel buildings. Working closely with world wide steel buildings we are able to get factory direct pricing on building packages and work directly with the engineers to design a building specifically for the client. Here is another project we just completed a week or so ago. Stay tuned for more photos of this build. These are just what I had handy. 4 stall horse barn with a implement section at one end. 36x60, 3 12 sliders, two man doors, lean-to, wash bay, tack room, concrete patio outside of tack room, new waterlines to the barn with multiple hydrants, new 100 amp service to the barn, LED lighting throughout, the stalls have no doors to the exterior per customers request (they want to build the doors themselves to put their hand in the build process), we have to go back to this project in the near future to pour a concrete floor in implement section of the barn as an add on to the project too much mud to get the concrete trucks across the pasture. What do you do when you need a road to get to the next project? You build one! A client of ours loved what we did on their barn so much they are having us back for more fun on the horse ranch! We are preparing to do the footing and final grade on their riding arena. There was no way we were gonna be able to get the footing material to the arena for a long time with all the moisture in the ground. The owner wanted a road through this low area anyway....so we got on it. Now, what do you do when it's too muddy, and it's a bad spot? Keep pushing rock that's what! Rough 187 tons of rock went into this 240' road. Let's just say the shot rock pushed in deep, the 3-5" was laid on thick, and the 2" road base was spread slick. Wouldn't you know it after a long day I forgot the finish product photo. I will get one later.

Looking for skilled carpenters. All aspects of the trade are a plus but not absolutely required. Here is a list of things we perform on the daily:
Framing
Concrete
All types of siding and trims
Light electrical
Rough and finish plumbing
LVT, tile, hardwood flooring
All aspects of residential and commercial remodels
Painting
Drywall and drywall finishing
Let's put it this way, on any given day you could be doing anything that is associated with the construction industry. The only thing we don't deal with is industrial electrical or HVAC
Here is the kicker. We don't need you if you have a court date every week, still suffer from substance abuse problems including alcohol, you can not make it to work everyday on your own (vehicles breakdown, we get it), you need to borrow money every other day (we are not bankers), if you are stuck in your ways and only want to do one thing (not gonna happen here), you have a horrible attitude, you don't want to take directions or a little constructive criticism (we don't know everything there is to know about everything and neither do you sorry to burst your bubble)
Here is what we do want or would like to find in our employees:
Drive
Work ethic
Pride in your work
Reliability (go to guys)
Guys or Ladies that we don't feel the need to watch every move they make
You can read a tape measure
Interpretation and understanding blueprints is a plus
We do travel some and there may be a few overnight stays in the mix of the schedule. We take care of those expenses, and travel pay is adjusted accordingly.
Pay is based on ability not just experience alone. There are some less experienced folks out there that are amazing at what they do and some more experienced folks out there that aren't. Just being honest.

Some of y'all seen the previous photos of the LP smartside job. Well, here is the finished product, and a little extra work order for the home owner. He liked the all composite man door we put in the garage so much he wanted one put in the stairwell to the basement of the house. On the house we went ahead and trimmed around the man door for future LP Smartside on the house. Thank You Brian John for your business.

All in a days work.....demo uneven unlevel subfloor, replace rotten/busted floor joists, reframe subfloor, new waterlines, and lay new durastrand subflooring. Its level, its smooth, and its stout!!!
