In just the last 2 years I’ve been witness to some appalling tile work. Some in $ multi million homes even. Anything from a homeowner trying to save some money, to paying top dollar to a ‘handyman’.
When hiring someone, or even doing it yourself, do some research! Building bathrooms takes some skill and cannot be done by just anyone. Do NOT hire an Electrician that does Tile work. Do NOT hire the lowest bidder. If you do not do this, it can likely cost you 3x the amount to tear out and redo.
