Juan Carlos Cintron, PE, Cassandra Dowd, and Phil Smith from our civil engineering team, along with representatives from the City of Arcadia and SEMCO Construction, recently completed a final walk-through at McSwain Park in Arcadia, FL.

Our team delivered comprehensive design plans to transform the park, including a new gazebo, playground, vibrant landscaping, accessible pathways, and renovations to existing facilities. We are honored to have played a role in revitalizing this community space and look forward to seeing the City of Arcadia and its residents enjoy McSwain Park for generations to come!

Last week, Lori McLaughlin and Wayne Guido from our utilities team attended the Spring D7 Utility Liaison Meeting, an event dedicated to fostering the collaboration of utility activities in the right-of-way among utilities, consultants, FDOT, and municipalities. Our team engaged with industry leaders and the FDOT District 7 Utilities Administrator, and took part in informative presentations and hands-on training sessions. They also participated in productive discussions with public agencies and private firms on design standards and strategies for damage prevention.
