Another retention pond site fully stabilized and protected against future erosion! 🚜💨

We wrapped up a comprehensive slope restoration and stabilization project to protect the surrounding embankments and keep washouts at bay.

What We Handled:

• Grading & Leveling: Cleared out uneven terrain and leveled out the entire area perimeter surrounding the retention pond.

• Erosion Repair: Backfilled eroded washouts and gullies with fresh soil to restore natural contours and slope integrity.

• Seeding & TRM: Spread grass seed and installed heavy-duty coconut Turf Reinforcement Matting (TRM) along the banks for long-term root establishment and slope stabilization.

• Riprap Installation: Added stone riprap around drainage inlets and high-flow runoff channels to dissipate water velocity and prevent future scour.

From bare red clay to a fully prepped, protected slope—ready to handle heavy rain for years to come.

Pond Clearing:
Cleared out thick brush, tall weeds, and small trees to completely open up the banks and restore proper access.
Outlet Structure Repair:
A large underground sinkhole caused the concrete control outlet to shift. We pumped flowable cement to seal the voids, reset the structure level, and sealed the pipe connections tight.
