Sometimes you don’t notice size differences of things that much unless you put them next to something your work with more often. On the right is a 16” BERMAD, Inc. USA 772 control valve for a local water district we will be installing soon. On the left is a more common 10” 772 control valve for the same district. We also used a slightly smaller than average person as a form of comparison (Martin Jefferson). Whatever the need is, we can do it.

That’s another 22 feet of 15” PIP Class 125 PVC installed bringing us one step closer to the finish line. Only 3 more miles of this size pipe to go on this project, all being laid adjacent to live irrigation lines!

A recent irrigation well project we completed in Santa Cruz County supported local cane and strawberry production. This project replaced two failed wells that were properly destroyed and removed. We drilled a new well, installed a turbine pump, and engineered a Danfoss Drives system specifically for this application, paired with a Yardney Water Filtration Systems filter station to ensure optimal performance.

We aren’t just installing tile drain lines this time of year, we are also cleaning them out. This is what a tile drain looks like after 40+ years. Our crew jets the clay mud and iron scale out of these lines and agitates the gravel envelope to get the lines to drain water from the soil like they are supposed to. While they aren’t back to brand new, they are much improved!

Goodbye concrete lines, hello efficiency! 🚜✨ Swapped out old concrete for new PVC lines, added our engineered tile drain system + a powered sump! Setting this field up for long term success. A solid and upgrade just in time to wrap up the growing season here in the
