Hereditary colorectal cancer (CRC) findings can shape the entire continuum of CRC care, beyond initial surgery. Patients carrying a pathogenic variant in a hereditary cancer gene, such as those associated with Lynch syndrome or familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), require intensified colonoscopic surveillance — often as frequently as annually — to reduce the risk of interval cancers, as well as referral to other specialties due to an increased risk of second primary cancers in other organs.¹ ⁶ ⁷ ⁸

Positive results also trigger guideline-recommended family testing, cascade screening, and preventive strategies for at-risk relatives.¹

With the MyRisk® Hereditary Cancer Test, access is not a barrier: most patients pay no out-of-pocket cost for the MyRisk Test, and reports are clear, guideline-aligned and easy to share across care teams.¹¹

Managing prostate cancer requires balancing the benefits of early intervention against the potential harms of overtreatment. The Prolaris® Prostate Cancer Prognostic Test helps bring that balance into focus. Uniquely validated in untreated patient populations, the Prolaris Test helps clinicians determine whether a patient’s cancer may be suitable for active surveillance, or if definitive treatment should be considered instead.¹

In clinical studies, the Prolaris Test outperformed all other genomic biomarkers in identifying untreated patients who were candidates to defer treatment.²

For patients like Myra, diagnosed with recurrent metastatic breast cancer, combined germline and tumor genomic testing can reveal more.

Using the MyRisk® Hereditary Cancer Test alongside the Precise Tumor® Molecular Profile Test can identify both inherited and acquired mutations which can help guide targeted therapy and family testing.

It is a powerful example of how unified testing from Myriad Oncology™ supports patients and providers through every phase of the cancer care continuum.

Because when results are integrated, insights are amplified.
