Website Designer/Developer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented website designer/developer to work remotely to redesign our website. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have superior user interface design skills. Strong working knowledge of responsive web and troubleshooting.

We are looking for a Web Developer who works as contract for 1-3 months. As someone with talent, professional, demonstrated knowledge and ability in how to achieve the goals they set, here is where you come in. As a Web Developer, you will:
Responsibilities

Experience designing/building websites from concept to launch.
Experience in designed websites using Wordpress and Shopify
Experience in HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / Falsh with a keen eye for design details.
Experience with design software - Photoshop, InDeisgn, Illustrator, etc
Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping, wireframing)
Familiarity with digital photo editing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Wordpress, Shopify, Microsoft Office, Google and Adobe applications.
Understanding of typography and layout design, color theory and it’s use in design, UI/UX and conversion optimization
Understand and apply UX/UI practices
Excellent eye for design and color
Attention to detail needed to execute visual design on the web.
Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
Experience in Organic Search Engine Optimization
Web Application Skinning
Responsive Website Design
Mobile Website Design
Resizing and optimizing graphics and video.
Troubleshooting and debugging pre-existing website
Time management and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy- Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements

Minimum Associate degree required
Remote- has U.S. Legal work authorization
Strong interest in the outdoors/outdoor industry
Outdoor product Web Developer experience
3-5 years Web Developer Experience
Proficiency in MS Office
